Bioprocess Engineer - Pilot Plant (Fermentation & DSP)

You lead pilot-scale bioprocessing activities, combining fermentation and downstream processing to bridge lab-scale research and industrial manufacturing.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Lead pilot-scale bioprocess trials transforming research into scalable manufacturing solutions
• Drive fermentation process development, optimizing media, feeding strategies and operating parameters
• Develop downstream processing approaches to improve yield, recovery and product quality
• Build process understanding through data analysis, automation insights and digital tools
• Contribute to safe, compliant and high-quality pilot plant operations via risk assessment and documentation
• Shape development of new biotech pilot plant capabilities by translating process needs into equipment solutions

Was Sie mitbringen

• Strong expertise in fermentation, bioprocessing and pilot or industrial-scale operations
• Knowledge of scale-up, technology transfer and industrialization
• Analytical thinking and use of process data and automation tools for troubleshooting and optimization
• Experience collaborating across research, engineering, operations, quality and safety teams
• Confident communication and presentation skills in French or English
