Platform Technical Operations Lead

You provide senior technical leadership for the operation, reliability and lifecycle management of scientific computing platforms across cloud and hybrid infrastructure.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Lead complex L3 and selected L2 platform operations and continuous improvement
• Build automation, tooling, observability, monitoring and alerting capabilities
• Provide technical leadership for AWS, on-premises and hybrid compute, storage and networking
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis
• Support data lifecycle, access, identity and integration requirements
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to junior engineers and contractors

Was Sie mitbringen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• Typically 4-7 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong experience with Amazon Web Services and Linux systems, networking, storage and distributed systems
• Experience leading technical discussions and coordinating work across multiple contributors
• Software development or scripting experience in Python, Go or Bash
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools
• Experience with containers, orchestration and CI/CD or GitOps practices
