This role designs and maintains onboard network architectures for ETCS and other signalling systems on rolling stock.

Vos tâches

Create and maintain network architectures for ETCS and other signalling systems on rolling stock
Define, document and manage network designs, interfaces and communication concepts
Configure and commission onboard networks for ETCS equipment and signalling systems
Create and maintain network configurations, VLAN concepts, IP addressing and security settings
Coordinate technically with system engineering, cyber security, vehicle engineering and commissioning teams
Analyse and troubleshoot network and communication issues during integration and operation
Support system testing, vehicle acceptance and on-site fault diagnostics

Ce que vous apportez

University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or comparable qualification
Solid knowledge of Ethernet networks, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls and TCP/IP protocols
Experience designing and implementing network architectures and configurations
Experience analysing network data using diagnostic and monitoring tools
Experience configuring Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches and integrating them into network architectures
Experience with cybersecurity solutions, security monitoring and vulnerability management
Fluent English required, German an advantage
