Around Basel, in the Zug area, in the Swiss Plateau and along the Jura arc there are plants that produce active ingredients, manufacture medical devices or run chemistry on a large scale – with documentation requirements that are hard for outsiders to imagine. People who work here think in processes and in evidence. Process engineers design equipment, columns and circuits. Pharma and biotech specialists work within GMP, oversee qualification and validation and know that a change does not end with the modification, but with the documentation. Chemical engineers combine reaction engineering with safety assessment. Medical technology specialists work to ISO 13485 and take products through regulatory approval. Through try&hire you first get to know these specialists and then work together. The engineers are employed by us or by our licensed partner; salary, social insurance and contract run through staff leasing. In the project you see how someone records a deviation, requests a change and talks to quality assurance. After a few months, both sides decide whether a permanent position follows. In a regulated environment this is the more honest route, because diligence only shows over weeks.
