Frequently asked questions
Something missing? Write to us — we will add the question here.
Who is the employer during the assignment?
Try&Hire. avec compétence (avecco) GmbH, to which Try&Hire belongs, holds the SECO licence for staff leasing (Personalverleih). Contract, salary, social insurance and payroll run through Try&Hire; you direct the specialist work.
How long does an assignment last?
Three to six months is usual. Shorter and longer are possible; the duration is agreed before the start and can be extended.
What does a permanent hire cost?
The permanent-hire terms are negotiated individually. Among other things, they depend on the country.
Do I have to hire someone permanently?
No. You can let the assignment run out at the agreed end. A permanent hire always requires the agreement of both sides.
What do companies see of a profile?
First name, discipline, experience, skills, languages, region, availability, salary expectations and the introduction video. Not: last name, contact details, names of previous employers or the exact place of residence.
When does the identity become visible?
Only when both sides agree after the call and the engineer releases it — and then only for this one company.
Is there filtering by age, gender or origin?
No. We do not collect this information and offer no filters for it, not even indirectly. Searches are based on qualifications, experience, languages, availability and work permit.
In which countries do you operate?
In Switzerland and Germany. The site exists separately for both countries, because law, currency and regions differ.
