Engineering Specialist (Process/Mechanical)

You support pilot plant operations and local investment projects, covering feasibility studies, project execution and commissioning in a process engineering environment.

Your tasks

• Prepare high-level feasibility studies for new process and product ideas
• Prepare detailed project proposals and budget requests with internal and external stakeholders
• Lead and execute projects on site, ending in successful commissioning and handover
• Assist technicians and operators with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Improve asset intensity of pilot plant and production facilities through data analysis
• Develop sustainable solutions to support net zero goals
• Support exploration and industrialization of new technologies and products

What you bring

• Engineering degree, preferably process or mechanical engineering
• Experience in process engineering and food industry including hygienic requirements is an advantage
• Fluent English (B2 or better); German is an advantage
• Strong networking and communication skills
• End-to-end project mindset with clear scope and documentation
• Strong problem-solving skills, willing to work in the field
• Full commitment to compliance in legal, safety, quality and finance matters

Conditions

• Workload: 80–100 %
• Work model: On site
• Option of a permanent position after the assignment if both sides want it
