In Switzerland this path leads particularly often into pharmaceutical and medical technology production, packaging and filling technology, and machine tool manufacturing. In between come program structure, safety functions, interfaces to higher-level systems and the documentation handed over at the end. A meaningful criterion is how many commissioning projects someone has actually seen through.
