Mobility, aviation and aerospace brings together three industries that share one thing: a mistake carries serious weight, so the evidence matters just as much as the design.

In Switzerland this field is smaller than in neighbouring countries but highly specialised – suppliers of drives and sensors, aviation maintenance organisations, and rolling stock and rail infrastructure on one of the densest networks in Europe. Automotive engineers work on vehicle systems, powertrains and control units and operate within ISO 26262 and AUTOSAR. Aviation and aerospace specialists know the EASA requirements and work in development, manufacturing or maintenance. Railway engineers bring together rolling stock, signalling and train protection, and infrastructure, and plan for life cycles of thirty years and more.
