Software, data and AI have long ceased to be an add-on in industry. Between machine control and analysis there is now an entire layer of services, data streams and models, and it determines whether measurements turn into meaningful insight.

In Switzerland this field meets a particular environment: strict data protection requirements, many regulated clients from pharma and medical technology, and a research landscape that works close to industry. The discipline brings together four perspectives. Software engineers build the applications and interfaces. Data engineers make sure data arrives reliably before anyone analyses it. Machine learning specialists bring models into production, not just into a notebook. OT security engineers protect production networks in which a restart is not an option. In all four cases, diligence counts for more than speed. With try&hire you first watch a short video, then talk for thirty minutes and then work together. The engineers are employed, and staff leasing covers contract, salary and insurance. After three to six months, both sides decide on a permanent position. In software this is especially logical: whether someone reads, tests and cleanly hands over other people’s code can only be guessed at in an interview – when you work together, you see it.
