Site Tenders & Projects Director

You lead and coordinate a portfolio of bids and projects at a rail technology site, balancing resources and managing risk to achieve strategic goals.

Your tasks

• Coordinate bids and projects to meet organizational strategic goals while minimizing portfolio risk
• Balance the portfolio to create optimal value for the organization
• Ensure timely resource allocation for bids and projects
• Drive quality, cost and delivery accountability across project portfolios
• Manage and develop a team of bid managers, project managers and sub-system managers
• Deploy and monitor bid and project processes across the site
• Facilitate collaboration between sites and stakeholders to resolve escalated issues

What you bring

• Degree in business management, engineering or a related field
• Project management certification (IPMA or PMI) is a plus
• At least 10 years of experience leading projects and/or bids
• Experience in a leadership role, ideally with transversal or international assignments
• Fluency in English, French and German required
• Knowledge of the railway industry is desirable

• Work model: On site
• Option of a permanent position after the assignment if both sides want it
