Jobs as Quality & regulatory engineer
Quality and regulatory engineers make sure a product does what was promised – and that this can be proven. They plan inspections, facilitate FMEAs, handle complaints, conduct audits and are responsible for the evidence provided to customers and authorities. In Switzerland the role is particularly in demand in medical technology, pharmaceutical supply and precision manufacturing, where the evidence is often more demanding than the manufacturing itself. Day-to-day work combines system-level work and individual cases. On one side are the management system, audits and key figures; on the other, the specific deviation that has to be decided today. Good engineers clarify root causes instead of collecting measures, and distinguish between an isolated case and a systematic problem. Common are ISO 9001 and industry-specific standards, FMEA, statistical process control, measurement system capability, auditor qualifications and experience with supplier development. Through try&hire you watch a video profile, hold a thirty-minute introductory meeting and then work together. The engineers are employed via staff leasing. After a few months, both sides decide whether a permanent position follows.
